This page explains how users of Afloat: A Relaxing Adventure can delete their account and associated game data.
How To Delete Your Account
Players who can access Delete Account can request deletion directly inside the game. The button is currently visible only to players who participate in leaderboards. Follow these steps:
1. Open Afloat
2. Open Settings
3. Select Account Settings
4. Choose Delete Account
5. Confirm the deletion

Data That Is Deleted
Deleting your account removes your associated online data, including:
• Your current and backup Afloat cloud saves
• Your Afloat Firebase Authentication account and sign-in record
• Your Firestore player document and its subcollections
• Related validated-run records
• Your PlayFab player and profile
• Leaderboard scores and online statistics
Deletion does not delete your Google account, Google Play Games profile, or Google Play Games achievements. Ordinary local gameplay progress remains, although the game may clear locally cached Afloat profile and account-linked leaderboard information.
Account Deletion Processing
Account deletion is performed online after confirmation and is complete when the game reports success. An internet connection is required. Connectivity or service errors may prevent completion and require you to try again. Uninstalling the game does not delete online data.
Analytics or advertising information processed separately by third-party providers may be subject to those providers’ retention and deletion policies.
